Gasque
A Gasque is a typical Swedish student tradition consisting in a dinner with different meal courses and entertainment 🍽️.
The toastmasters will lead you through the meal with songs, small games and whatever they planned for you. This quiz are also meant to have you get to know the people at your table, so don’t feel shy if your friend couldn’t make it last minute .
Typically every Gasque has its own theme.
Osqvik
Osqvik is a lovely cottage owned by THS, placed right outside Stockholm, surrounded by nature, and with a sauna facing the sea 🧖.
At Osqvik we usually have a Gasque and then party all night/day long 💃.
In the summer we also spend a lot of time outside, enjoy the views, have a bonfire, go take a dip in the water, and then hit the sauna, while during the winter... Well, we're in Sweden, so exactly the same ❄️♨️!
Every Osqvik has its own theme.
Gasque and Osqvik committee
The Gasque and Osqvik committees are responsible for organizing either a Gasque or an Osqvik event. These committees are chosen for a single event and can consist of individuals from various backgrounds, including members who may be part of other committees or serve on the board.
They support the Event Manager in planning and executing the event. This includes selecting the menu and the decorations, fitting the chosen theme.
These committees shape the core parts of the event, ensuring it aligns with their vision and goals. Their collaborative efforts help create memorable and enjoyable experiences for all attendees.
